Moving Company Penelized
Moving company from New York operated in New Jersey, and violated the New Jersey Consumer Protection law
A moving company from New York city was penalized for operating in New Jersey without a license. The company is a licensed moving company, but apparently they violated the New Jersey Consumer Protection law.
The movers will have to pay 22,500 $ penalty to the state of NJ and stop working, advertizing and doing any business in New Jersey.
The Moving company advertised themselves as being in NJ when actually placed in New York.
"We don't want just anyone to come and steal our living" said a local mover who was one of the people who first complained about the New York company that had set her foot on other peoples territory.
