How to Secure Property Using 3-Zones Strategy

Zone 1 - Outdoors

Installing high security locks on entry doors, including garage doors, will withstand lock picking techniques employed by the intruder, and keep indoors protected from burglary. Even if you have not installed outdoor lighting, safe guarding entry points with deadbolts and other strong locking mechanisms will still prevent forced entry.

Zone 3 - Indoors
Burglar alarm system will activate load sound upon forced entry detection. Earsplitting sounding alarm will scare off unwanted intruders, and further alert neighbors of a potential break-in attempt.

The 3 zone strategy directs you to the places most easily tackled by unwanted intruders. Although your outdoors can be easily accessed, lighting will deter the burglar from trying to approach zone 2. With unlit outdoors or a very persistent intruder, high security locks will prevent forced entry to zone 3. Without lighting in zone 1, and high security locks in zone 2, an alarm system and other access control security solutions should scare away the prowler. Instead of splashing money on ineffective security measures, safe guard the 3 zones leading to your property for maximum protection.
